Wichita
Wichita holds a wide variety of members who have set a high standard for membership, volunteering, developing programs and expanding networking opportunities throughout our close-knit community of designers and representatives in and around the Wichita area. Our focus is on growing membership numbers of Wichita, utilizing one another talents and resources, developing valuable program opportunities and contributing to worthy causes in the Wichita community. Our programs cover topics such as local tours, sound masking, lighting design, sustainability discussions, historical tours and ergonomics.
In addition to a strong Program schedule, the Wichita City Center focuses on yearly charitable organizations that allow us to donate our time and strengths to bettering the environments of others in our community. Major events the Wichita City Center participates in on an annual basis are: Goodwill Easter Seals Festival of Trees, Extreme Makeover IIDA Edition and the Salvation Army Toiletry Drive. We are gearing up to host the 3rd Annual MADA this up coming year! It will be fun to bring in other designers and reps within our Chapter. This year we will be introducing a new event, IIDA Trivia Night, with a Masquerade theme! We are very excited to bring something fun and new into the area!
