We’re partnering with reStart Inc., a Kansas City nonprofit providing emergency shelter, case management, and housing support for individuals and families. ReStart is expanding its services with a new family shelter featuring 45 lodge-style rooms—studio, 2‑bedroom, and 3‑bedroom units with kitchenettes—to better meet the growing need for safe, stable housing.
To help furnish these rooms for families moving in, we’re hosting a community donation drive. Our team will be stationed at three local coffee shops collecting new or gently used household essentials, and donors will receive a complimentary coffee as a thank you. Local firms can also request an office donation box, which we will deliver starting May 18th and later pick up.
Items Needed:
- Bedding & Linens: sheet sets (twin–king), comforters, pillows, blankets, towels, washcloths, dish towels
- Kitchen Essentials: plates, cups, bowls, mugs, silverware, pots/pans, utensils, mixing bowls, measuring cups, Tupperware, ice cube trays
- Cleaning & Household Supplies: laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, Clorox wipes, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, sponges, toilet brushes, plungers, trash cans, laundry baskets, mops, brooms
