Take Me out to the Design Crawl
The Wichita Design Community invites you to attend the second annual Summer Design Crawl. We will crawl between three locations and network with other professionals in the Wichita design community along the way. There will be a bus to provide transportation between stops where we will keep the party moving! Each stop will have food and drinks.
A $25 donation for entry will be benefit League 42 (Wichita Little League Baseball). This gets you in the door to all three locations with food, drinks, raffle items (additional tickets available to purchase to increase your odds) and summer games. Feel free to join us at any poin in the evening.
There will be a trophy for the person voted best dressed at our last stop. Dress up like your favorite baseball player, mascot or fan! We encourage you to think outside the box and have some fun!
Stop 1 (6-7pm - Check in 5:30-6:30) : Greyten Architecture + Interior Design - 920 E. 1st St. N, Wichita
Stop 2 (7:15-8:15) : Schaefer Architecture - 257 N. Broadway, Wichita
Stop 3 (8:30-9:30) : Icon Construction - 114 N. Wabash Ave, Wichita
Site Tour | Exploration Place Destination Playscape Tour
Join IIDA and AIA Wichita on an exclusive guided tour of Exploration Place’s new Destination Playscape.
6.5 acres of immersive outdoor experience along the Arkansas River designed to celebrate Kansas’ landscape, heritage, and identity through 10 thoughtfully curated environments that blend play, education, and storytelling through landscape design.
The tour will be led by landscape architecture firm Hoerr Schaudt, who will travel from Kansas City to share insights into the design vision and process behind this dynamic new destination.
Donation Drive for ReStart KC Shelter
We’re partnering with reStart Inc., a Kansas City nonprofit providing emergency shelter, case management, and housing support for individuals and families. ReStart is expanding its services with a new family shelter featuring 45 lodge-style rooms—studio, 2‑bedroom, and 3‑bedroom units with kitchenettes—to better meet the growing need for safe, stable housing.
To help furnish these rooms for families moving in, we’re hosting a community donation drive. Our team will be stationed at three local coffee shops collecting new or gently used household essentials, and donors will receive a complimentary coffee as a thank you. Local firms can also request an office donation box, which we will deliver starting May 18th and later pick up.
Items Needed:
- Bedding & Linens: sheet sets (twin–king), comforters, pillows, blankets, towels, washcloths, dish towels
- Kitchen Essentials: plates, cups, bowls, mugs, silverware, pots/pans, utensils, mixing bowls, measuring cups, Tupperware, ice cube trays
- Cleaning & Household Supplies: laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, Clorox wipes, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, sponges, toilet brushes, plungers, trash cans, laundry baskets, mops, brooms

Trivia Night!
Join us for an evening of friendly competition and unforgettable fun at our upcoming Trivia Night on Thursday, May 21st! Doors open at 5:00 PM and trivia will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Expect surprising facts, lots of laughs, and plenty of “who even knows that?!” moments along the way.
Spots are limited, so start rallying your dream team now. Tables will go on sale at the end of April. Each table is $200 and includes 8 tickets, plus dinner and drink tickets for the table. If you plan on purchasing a table, please note that you’ll be required to list all eight team members during the registration process—so be sure to have your roster ready!
Individual tickets are not available for this event, tickets are sold as a table of 8 only.

2026 Annual Member Lunch - Wichita

This year includes guest speaker, Liz Cook, longtime restaurant critic and the Midwest Chair for the James Beard Foundation. Liz will be sharing regional trends and design impact she's seeing within the hospitality and restaurant industry.
