The afternoon will feature updates from our Chapter President, recognition of long-standing members, and an inspiring keynote from Liz Cook — former restaurant critic and creator of the acclaimed experimental food newsletter, Haterade. Liz’s work has been featured in Bon Appétit, Eater, the BBC, Midwesterner, and Defector, and her writing has earned honors from the Association of Food Journalists and the Association of Alternative Newsmedia.
