IIDA Campus Relations is hosting our annual “Portfolios and Professionals PLUS” event Friday, February 6th, 2026 at Populous Kansas City. This event connects students with professionals in the interior design field for portfolio reviews and firm tours. Volunteer information will be sent to member emails. Schedule:
9:30 am - 10:00 am | Students and professionals arrive & prepare for Group One reviews
10:00 am - 12:00 pm | Portfolio reviews (Group One) + firm/showroom tours (Group Two)
12:00 pm - 1:15 pm | Lunch with special presentations
1:15 pm - 1:30 pm | After lunch break / Setup for Group Two Reviews
1:30 pm - 3:30 pm | Portfolio reviews (Group Two) + firm /showroom tours (Group One)
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm | Mocktails and Networking - Stick around for giveaways!
Helpful Hints: Wear closed-toed walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing - students will be walking outside for our Design Around Town tours which include jobsite tour(s). Also, don’t forget your cords and charging devices for your digital portfolio tools! IMPORTANT: A current state-issued photo ID or a passport is required at check-in. Parking information will be emailed prior to the event and will be the responsibility of the student. Carpooling is encouraged!
