CALL FOR MENTORS AND STUDENTS!

With IIDA Mid America’s Connect Mentoring Program, we look to connect our mentees (student members) with a mentor (design professionals from various fields in our industry) during the school year to foster the professional growth of our mentees and strengthen the connections within our design community. A mentorship is known to develop best over an extended period of time with a focus on the growth and development of the mentee.

Mentors, if you are worried about the time commitment, you can rest easy! We suggest striving to have an initial meet-and-greet meeting and then touch base at least every other month to achieve our goal of 5-6 conversations/ meetings by the end of the school year.
